New additions to my Mindful series. This set was inspired by the beautiful summer sunsets over the water outside my home. The horizon line is grounding, centering. No matter where your thoughts were a few moments ago, coming back to the horizon quiets the mind.

Mindful Series Vol. 1: Forms
Mindful is an ongoing series of minimal abstract paintings in acrylic and watercolor.
Inspired by moments, shapes and lines in nature. Reflective of the stillness of being here, now.
Ink Series
Ink is a series of minimal, abstract gestural line paintings in black over neutral clay, taupe and white surfaces. Each piece was painted separately and spontaneously, and reflects the different moods, feelings and thoughts of the day. However, they also also pair and work together as a collection. I like these grouped in sets of 2 or 3 with a black frame, or as a large or small solo piece with simple styling.
