I've been playing with combinations of ultramarine blue and violet recently for my ongoing Litmus monoprint series. I love this blue. There is something so refreshing and cleansing about it; vivid and energetic in contrast with this dreary gray time of year in the Northeast, as we wait for the Nor'easter storms to stop (please!) and for it to finally start getting warm.
