This soft, ethereal seascape painting was inspired by the slow melting of the seasons from winter into spring along the bay shore. Muted shades of blue, gray and white shower over the moody sky, as calm peaceful waters drift below. This piece has a balance of soft motion and stillness. A few unexpected drips and dabs of translucent paint add a touch of whimsy. I particularly love the translucent folds of blue that cascade and hover above the skyline.

This canvas is stretched, wired and ready to hang. It does not come with an external frame and any frames in the photos are for reference and ideas. The sides are painted white so you may hang this unframed if you would like. I also think it would look rather elegant in a simple white frame.

Painting is signed on the back by the artist and will come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
