12 Pieces for December: Quiet Moments

Monthly Art Inspiration

It's a hustling, bustling time of year. Holiday parties, shopping, family get togethers, gift exchanges, work events--in this season, it is easy to feel stretched.

It is also easy to forget to take a few moments to stop, rest and reflect on what is really important as we move into a new year.

This month's art inspiration is focused on finding moments of quiet, peace and gratitude in our busy lives. Little time-outs from our packed schedules. Surrendering to small moments of calm, its soul lifts and sighs.  Being mindful, grateful and fully alive.

12 PIECES FOR NOVEMBER: AUTUMN HUES

Monthly art inspiration

Fall has been late to arrive this year in the Northeast. What is usually a colorful ritual of reds and golds and greens, has been rather, well, brown these past few weeks. This week, the temperatures finally started to plunge and the foliage is following suit.

Craving those autumnal colors and textures, this month’s inspiration roundup is dedicated to those warm, crispy hues reminiscent of sunny fall days and suddenly brisk nights.
